Mono Compat. Fix

Thanks Digi for such quick work on the mono problem. I'm wondering, though: what happens to the stuff I had already recorded before replacing the DAE. Should the fix make it mono compatible? I must say I haven't noticed a problem yet, but I haven't had a whole lot of time to test it either. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Glenn

Thanks, James. That makes sense. I guess I just need to check the mono compatibility of my stereo pairs the same way I would normally. If they need shifting, I'll shift them. If not, I won't. Glenn

hi, wana check... if i record from the spdif(da30>spdif) does it get recorded with the phaze thing or not one more thing : can i make the new track a stereo chanel...spdif (that is a stupid Q i know, or..) can't download the fix thing cause my internet provider dont have services for mac computer ..dig this!! too much thanks for ant answer izik levy [This message has been edited by sandman (edited March 13, 2000).]

My experience has been that SP/DIF in and out works fine with or without the fix--only the analog ins and outs had the phase shift problem. James
