Thoughts on Alesis QSR module

I'm looking to buy the Alesis QSR sound module; but I would like to get as much comments and suggestions before I do. Is their anyone using this module? Is the sound quality as good as Roland JV1080. Also, how about the patches? Many thanks RnR

To be honest with you, I'd save the extra bucks and get the Roland JV1080. It has much cleaner sounds, and quite frankly, its much more of an industry standard. If you don't want those stock sounds, you might want to look at the EMU Proteus 2000 as well. I've heard great stuff about it. If you can afford it, get more than one module so you have that variety.
