I have a Pioneer DV-C505 5 DVD player and when I play SVCD's (haven't tried DVD's) on it, that look right on the computer, but they are kind of cropped. Say this is what the picture looks like on my computer (abcdefg) When I play it on the DVD player it will look like (bcdef) Just a tiny bit off the sides is taken off, say when there is writing from edge to edge of the screen, half of the first and last letters will get cut off. Now I have the DVD player set in 4:3 letter box mode (NOT pan and scan), and definitely not 16:9 as my tv is a 4:3. Does anyone know how I can fix it? It's ok if I can't because I can't do anything about it. The video outs, I have a Composite out, a yb, y(a)?, and a S-video I currently use the yellow composite out. Quality wise, I'm colourblind so whatever output I use is ok and my tv supports them all.
