Key detection

Hey all, I've been looking for some sort of plug-in that will tell me the key of a song... or the scale of a melody... something like that. Does Reaper have anything included that will do this? Anybody got any tricks? Thanks!

ReaTune gives you single note pitch. You may sing or whistle the melody if you have to isolate it from a mix. Actually I myself use Band In A Box, it has a function to analyze all the chords from a full mix.

I bought Band in a Box and have been pleasantly surprised with it. Great learning tool, lots of features to experiment with different styles and of course the ability to determine all the chords in any song from Mp3's or audio CD. Its been great to rough out a mix and then send the whole thing over to Reaper to polish up. IF they incorporated Rewire into BIAB Or RealBand it would be the cats pajama's.

I read in a music magazine of a program that detects the key of a song as well as the chord progressions. I will look through my magazines and see if I can get the name of the program.
