When I wake my G4 Mac up from sleep mode Pro Tools LE does not recognize the 001. Can this be remedied somehow??? I would love be able to take advantage of sleep mode rather than a full shutdown... thanks

Slink, just got the G4500 yesterday. Playing around on the demo last night. Put it in sleep mode, woke up this morning and now i get the same thing, doesn't see the digi hardware, what gives??? haze
Tech support walked me through the extensions manager and preferences and got me going again. Basically, stay away from the sleep mode. Since the 001 gets it's power from the computer, the sleep mode confuses it. haze
I could be wrong but I think you are supposed to dissable all power saving including sleep mode when using 001 - A bummer I know - CHECK THE MANUAL! JB.

For what its worth. Sleep mode works great on the Yosemite w/ 8.6- even with record enable tracks. This may be an issue with the new soundmanager grapeling with the digi hardware. Do you have any inputs routed from your internal CD player?

No shags. Just simple setup at this point. Kyle in Tech. support was great. I remember seeing issues about sleep mode some time ago and didn't think much about it until this morning. It is a bummer though. haze
