Windows XP password Setup? 

Sup! Here's another situation: I have Widows XP (home edition) preinstalled. I want to password protect my system, so if someone turns it on. They can't have access to all of my files, prgrams, etc. They will have to enter a password to load XP with all the Programs, files,etc. And another account so someone can logon to XP and they'll have a limited access to files, and programs they can use on the system. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any replies & Suggestions. :)

go to the control panel, select User Accounts (that's the last item), select the currently existing account, select "Create a password", enter a password, then select the guest account and enable it.

To ensure your files cannot be accessed by other accounts be sure to make them private (under the Share tab in the folders properties), unfortunatly you can only do this to folders under your ..\Documents and settings\USER folder. I'm not sure if this is turned on by default, but knowing MS probably not. If your really paranoid you can also encrypt them (click the advanced button in folder properties). This can be done with any folder, but will affect performance when accessing the files.
