Headlights and dash cut out????????

Hi All My 96 850 2.5 has a strange intermitant fault with the headlights and instrument panel not working. The headlamps will still flash though. It has no pattern to it and will then start working OK when I next drive it.. Any ideas Thanks Andy

It sounds like your ignition switch is on the way out, it's fairly easy to change and it should get rid of you rproblems. Do a search for ignition switch replacement. In fact:-

yeah I reckon the same, its a very easy thing to swap too, having just broken up my old T5 I've learnt a lot about how to go about repairing them and this is one of the easiest things!
