I included the ad below. Does this work for Reaper? How can you hear what you are recording if your only recording a dry tone? Anyone done this yet? It seems like it would work great for tip top recordings, I could have 2 amps at once etc. Take your recording to the next level: use all the amp and effects models from your TonePort as a plug-in with your favorite recording software for ultimate flexibility. For example, you can apply different TonePort tones to a dry recorded guitar track during playback without changing your original recording. This way you can always dial in the right guitar tone without having to re-record that "perfect" riff.

Podfarm gives you the feature (when running standalone) to configure the sends (via the Mixer) which you are recording in Reaper. For example send1-2 dry and send3-4 processed. You can setup one track in Reaper to record send1-2 and one track to record send3-4. Monitoring the processed send gives you the ability to hear it and have recorded both processed and dry (for later tweaking e.g. with POD Farm VST) Michael
Yes, you can do this in Reaper. I have a friend that uses the UX2. In order to hear fx while recording but actually record the signal dry to Reaper, you have to record with Podfarm in "standalone" mode. I think it's about pg. 60-65 in the "recording with Podfarm" manual that it explains how to do this. To me, it's a great concept: you get to monitor your input with fx with no latency but have the option to keep or change the fx after you record the file to Reaper. Here's the link to user manuals. Not sure which unit you have. FWIW, you have to have Podfarm VSt plugins installed in order to apply the same fx to the dry recordings in Reaper. Good luck!
thanks ya'll, this seems pretty awesome, for a $50 upgrade you can record with alot of diff amp combinations and tweak after the fact. guitar/bass tone is pretty crucial to recordings. Im prolly gonna get this in a bit, I see line 6 has a money back guarantee. Ill post recordings once I do it :)
Don;t forget to to get access to all four outputs using the Toneport ASIO you must enable them in Reaper, Options/Preferences/Audio/Device/ASIO Toneport and click on the enable inputs Last section and set 4. You can now set up tracks several ways like 1 stereo track using a mono or stereo input using a single or dual amp combo,"Wet" or semi-wet or two mono/stereo tracks using Wet/Semi wet/Dry etc.Lots of combinations. HTH :)
