Any major updates for Protools 5

Or is Protools 5 Dead in the water I'd like to see the Crossfades bug fixed Maybe some MIDI stuff like scrub and Groove Quantize Or at least a Protools 6 for 9

Digi is not going to use more resources for continued development on OS 9. As of June this year, you won't be able to buy an OS 9 booting machine from Apple. At a certain point, there will no longer be updates for a particular product. How about those updates past 9.2.2 for Mac OS? Well, the "update" is "move to OS X", in a sense. It's the same w/ PT 5.x and 6.x With limited resources, Digi will (and should) focus on making 6.x the best product it can be.

Hello. Dog BBQ I read your question perfectly. I don't think you read my reply. In my reply I said the UPDATE for 5.x is 6.x. Think of 6.0 as 5.4. I know usually when you go up a version it is usually referred to as an upgrade and not an update. In a practical sense however it is an update.

PT6 is amazing with many new additions that I think were very much needed. It works just fine too, so no worries there.....
