Mad wing mirrors

Hi Chaps, The wing mirrors on my V70 seem to have gone bonkers when using the electric folding option. When I fold them in, the drivers go in and the passenger mirror stays put, then when fold out, the drivers mirror goes out and the passenger one goes in !!! Has anyone else noticed this issue and/or know of a fix for it? Cheers, JDS

It's covered in the handbook if you look. Basically you need to manually move one of them with the key out and then fold and unfold them a couple of times with the button to get them back to normal.

lol this "issue" made me laugh I have a habit of folding out when on the road just after i get out of the house I can just imagine peoples faces when they see one going in and the other going out

my mirrors do the same trick, the first time i just forced the passenger side out and that fixed them, Yesterday they went out of sync again and no matter what i try they keep reverting back to one out one in, I just tried unplugging the cables to the door then put them back in sync , but the next time I tried them they went one out one in again frustrated dave

Try this: 1. Open fuse box panel in the side of dashboard. 2. Remove the fuse for R/H door mirror (sorry don't have a number to hand). 3. Push folding button. L/H door mirror should now fold only. Folding mechs are now both aligned in sync. 4. Remove Main door mirror fuse from box also (not L/H one) then replace. Doing this seems to reset the folding mech memory. 5. Replace R/H door mirror fuse and test again. Should now both fold in sync. Hope that helps.
