cutting off the last 8 minutes or so

I've just started playing around with Tmpeg after creating a few dvds with Rempeg. I've attempted to reencode Me Myself & Irene using automatic VBR at 93% - i think this is single pass. I let it go overnight and the finished file is actually bigger than the original. No problem with that, I've just got to do some finetuning, however the file only runs for 1:13:04. The original m2v file runs for 1:21:xx. What has happened with the final 8 minutes??? I've followed the Ifoedit with Tmpeg guide as on this web site, except i did not select the option for force frames.' Any assistance would be greatly appreciated Cheers,

Just a stab in the dark, but perhaps the dvd2avi project file is incomplete? e.g. the last vob isn't referenced.

i don't import the d2v (i think?) file, when i do it comes up with an error. I import the m2v file (that's created via smartripper) which goes for 1:21:xx.
