Hello All, I just realized with horror, that in one of my projects the output differs from what I get when I render. To be more precise: When I render I get a hell of reverb. When I just press Space, everything is fine. I think it is ab problem with one VST-Plugin I am using, as everything is fine when I use the ReaVerb or Freeverb. But well, I would like to use the other one too (ModernSpace from Antress). As far as I understand there should be no difference for the plugin using it "live" or in rendering, should there? I tried rendering in realtime too, but still too much "verbration". Has someone experienced similar probs? Is there a way I can use the Plugin, or have I to find another one with the sound I like? Kristian
I'm having this issue to, most recently on split items that have VST distortions (Nick Crow 1710, and the BIG bass amp) on them using the per-item effects. The REAPER project has the exact sound I'm looking for, but when I render the project, the sound changes for the worst. If anyone has ideas what to look for other than what has been suggested so far, please post them!! Thanks! -mr moon
I had the same problem last weekend where I had on a track about 20 items with different fx and volumes applied on items separetely. I had also some fx on that track. They were all 96khz files. Rendering them to 44.1/16 bit give me something that sounded not the same at all as the original playback. After severals tries I've started by rendering the items but keep everything at 96Khz. After, I rendered them to 44.1/16bit and everything was fine. Probably a user error on my side but I could'nt find it.
When I render, The mix goes way off, drums sound floppy, nothing has attack, its pretty embarrassing showing some of my work, cause it's just rubbish, sounds unmixed and real distant. Haven't found a solution yet. ~Rob.
