Reaper + MIDI Yoke + Rejoice

Hello! I found those two applications that will let me use my joystick to send MIDI commands, but I'm having troubles configuring Reaper to work with them. In Rejoice I select to output the commands (CC 11) to MIDI Yoke output 1. Then, in MIDI configuration inside Reaper, I activate the MIDI Yoke input 1 (Enable+Command), but I don't think it's working, because the VST effect that responds to the CC 11 (wah intensity) does not change what it is supposed to change when I move the joystick axis. Reaper also displays a message like "MIDI Feedback, disabling input 1". I'm a newbie with all this "routing" stuff, so can anyone point me what am I doing wrong? (or what I should do make it work). I have Mijoy 3 VST, which also send MIDI commands using a joystick (works fine), but it's the demo version, so I searched for alternatives and found Rejoice + MIDI Yoke. Other alternatives to do what I want are welcome too. =) Thanks in advance, Fergo

I have no gamepad or joystick, so I haven't used it, but Reaper has Joystick to MIDI support implemented. I don't know how far that goes and if it works smooth but think you should definitely try (and report back ;)) Preferences >> Audio >> MIDI Devices: Add Joystick MIDI.

Update: Just found plugin that does exactly what MIJOY does and with more customization options. It's a bit ugly but does the job just right (and it' freeware): You can still use the built in Joystick MIDI of Reaper too (which is good for arming/desarming, etc...) Fergo

fergo, i am in the same boat as you (sort of) i want to use my controller for a drum synth i'm using rejoice and MIDI yoke. i am having the same trouble getting them to work. if you have worked it out or a good alternative please let me know cheers
