You certainly got your money's worth out of that one. This is the Volvo clutch out of my Focus ST (Volvo M66 Box)....27,000 miles, 10,000 by me as second owner with very, very little abuse on my part.....first owner must have shagged it senseless.... Regards, Don.

Yikes, suprised it hadn't welded itself to the back plate :) Stick it on Ebay saying it's a lightened performance part, someone'll pay good money for it :lol:

do you want the good news they screwed up and sent the wrong clutch the new one is too big for the splined shaft does any one know what type my gear box is its a 5sp no badge numbers on it and there trying to blame it on the box being changed but i kno its the origanal too it clutch they sent says its for the 740 but was the one listed for the 940 dtic thats the box

just looking under search is my box a m90 reverse is under 5th gear

My wife had an '80 VW Golf for years. By the time I met her, it wouldn't go into 1st gear when stopped. Her father kept saying that it had always been like that and there was nothing wrong with it. Well the diesel engine finally packed it in somewhere around 300,000 miles, and the clutch was changed (under protest.) Turns out, it was the original clutch.
