First note of midi track not playing

Hi guys, just installed Reaper and played around with it for some hours. I managed to setup a project with some plugin- and midi-tracks. One of the tracks plays a simple 16th bassline on my hardware synth Virus A. Now everytime the loop starts from the beginning the first note of this track is missing. Tried quantizing with no effect. Just moving the note to the right (away from the exact loop start point) helps. When the same pattern is played on a VSTi track the first note is always played. So I guess it's a problem with midi out tracks. Any similar experiences and/or advice? Thanks, Scherer

So you get that only at the very project start, too? The problem with this problem is that it seems to happen only on selected computers, I tried it (again) after reading the other post and it didn't happen here (again) for example. Similar problems came up in the past but it's hard to tell if this is exactly the same old bug (maybe not). The workaround is not to start projects on bar 1 in first place or inserting empty space.

No. When I move all my tracks to start from measure 2 and start playing from measure 1 I can hear the first note of all tracks. When I move all my tracks to start from measure 2 and start playing from measure 2 I cannot hear the first note of all tracks. In both cases I cannot hear the first notes when the loop starts over.
