Waves Native Pack & Digi001

How does one go about installing waves to the Digi 001 RTAS system. I have a Mac G4 and everybody knows it comes with a USB port and Waves is asking for another kind. Also do the digi001 owners have to pay for the upgrade or is that for something else. Please help me I'm dying over here. Peanut Out

You can purchase the RTAS version for $150 from Waves IF you are a current, registered owner of the package you want to use. You will also have to purchase the Griffin Technologies (griffintechnologies.com) iMate USB-to-ADB adapter. I think it's about $40. The best place to run it is directly into the Mac's USB port, although some people have been successful in running it right off the extra USB port on the keyboard. Then you must download the 2.8.1 TDM version of the package. You use that with the new RTAS Waveshell. There are more complete instructions on the waves site. I'm sure that eventually they'll have CDs with everything you need on them, but because this is so new (RTAS), this is the way it's done at the moment.

The waves install CD's have had all current RTAS installs for at least a month. If you get a new Native package and an imate, you should be all set. Mike
