ogg vorbis and rehuff

in first, excuse me for my poor english... well the rehuff encoding improve sound quality in ogg and make ogg smaller (3%) well, rehuff in ogg vorbis have problem with seeking, but i've solution ! and this solution resolve also TCMP's problem with ogg (sound distorsion) for your ogg rehuff function correctly with seeking it's necessary to encapsulate it in mka file, and after, no seeking problem ! this solution is simple but not universal due to not all player can play mka for movie if you mux ogg "rehuffed" with video i think of there is no seeking problem, but i've not tested this... ogg contener is not perfect :( improve it is necessary i think...

The problem is not the ogg encoder, I read that there is a problem with libogg. There is a other solution with muxing to mka: remux file in graphedit using Tobias OggDS: rehuffed.ogg -> Ogg Splitter -> Ogg Mux -> File Writer After that rehuffed file is perfectly seekable (the file is not bigger, my test showed that the size differs by about 20 bytes)

I yust tested that again, I could not reproduce your error. The rehuffed/remuxed file was perfectly playable in winamp 2.81 / Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder v1.2.9 The file had a very high bitrate (q10), here are the filesize results: original: 7.874.948 bytes rehuffed: 6.102.936 bytes rehuffed/remuxed: 6.102.963 bytes 22,5% compression, not just 3%!! The output is bit-identical. It seems that at high bitrates rehuff can save a lot of space. I read somewhere that xiph is coding libogg2, which will work correctly.
