Insert time

Noob question; How do I insert a chunk of time (say like 30 sec's) from a certain point in reaper? In other words, "blank" space?

Yep, the question comes up quite often. Any idea how to make it more intuitive? What have you been looking for when you searched for it? In the alpha versions of Reaper v.4 it can additionally be found in the main Insert menu as "Empty space at time selection". Maybe that'll help a bit? Ideas welcome :)

Putting it in the Insert menu would be a good start. I was looking for something like "Insert bars" or similar.
