Noise After couple of Recordings

I just got reaper and i have a Sigmatel audo card on a dell XPS 420. I installed ASIO4ALL as my sigmatel has terrible syncing problems. Just won't stay in sync. Anyway: So i record a couple of clips and after 2-3 recordings, a crackling noise appears. And the more i record, the worse it gets. Any ideas? My buffers settings are standard. I tested this with fruity loops and it doesn't happen there.

Not to sure as little info in your post but this may help as it is not very likely to be related to Reaper:

no this is not the problem. All drivers work how they are supposed to. If u record in fruity loops it works perfectly. I just run the asio drivers just as in reaper. I don't use the sigmatel drivers because the tracks which i record won't stay in sync. So what happens is that when i record crackling appears IN the track itself, in the clip i mean. It's just in the sound clip. And the more i record, the worse the crackling gets in the clips. When i restart reaper, or reset the buffers, the problem is gone but reappears after 2-3 recordings AGAIN. This does not happen in fruity loops, where i use the same config (asio config) as in reaper.

Then it is your settings I guess. Try raising the buffer settings in ASIO for all until there is no more crackling then reducing them until it appears again. After that lengthen it back a bit until optimum buffering is achieved. If it is not this then reset Reaper as it may be a setting that just does not conform to your system. This is hard as you have to manually wipe out the documents and settings files too. Back up before this.
