no this is not the problem. All drivers work how they are supposed to. If u record in fruity loops it works perfectly. I just run the asio drivers just as in reaper. I don't use the sigmatel drivers because the tracks which i record won't stay in sync. So what happens is that when i record crackling appears IN the track itself, in the clip i mean. It's just in the sound clip. And the more i record, the worse the crackling gets in the clips. When i restart reaper, or reset the buffers, the problem is gone but reappears after 2-3 recordings AGAIN. This does not happen in fruity loops, where i use the same config (asio config) as in reaper.
