Splitting Vob/Cell...

I have use DVDdecrypter to extract Chapter 3 of a Anime DVD, which is 20 Mins long. And i want to split it so that i have only the first 3 mins of that Chapter 3. How could this be done with out converting to M2v and edit it myself. Does VirtualDubMod does it?? sorry... posted wrong forum...

Iwod, I don't know what toolset or process you use ... but if your procedure includes DVD2AVI, you can use the [ and ] buttons to select the segment you're interested in.

does it matter which tool set i uses?? I have used DVD2AVI as well but i can't see where your [ and ] is coming from....... So far what i have done is testing every codec with a proticular Anime's chapter 3 becuase i think it is very good for testing. However i only want to test the first 3 min of the Chapter 3. ( Since chapter 3 = vob 3 = cell 3 ) How can i CUT the first 3 min of the Vob out?? I know there is a little article on miniDVD about how to cut Vob.... but it is way too complicated and time consuming. So i am thinking if there are any new tools that would allow me to do that??

it will actually save an avi. A pop-up window will let you choose and configure a codec. Most users of DVD2AVI use it with AviSynth, but there are still quite a few who use it for avi encoding.
