Defragment

I got these warnings today during a PT session saying that my hard drive was too fragmented, how do I defrag my G4? I cant figure it out. Thanks.

Thanks Kamurah, I was planning on getting norton utilities anyway. I didnt know you had to have it though to defrag. I learn something new every day!

I use Disk Warrier and Plus Optimizer. Works great... fast too. Much faster than Norton. It's been noted that Norton can sometimes create disk errors even in normal use. Plus you have to use a version of Norton which will start your machine.

Forget Norton, go with the , which contains Disck Warrior, Conflict Catcher, Pluys Optimizer, and a host of the best utilities for the Mac. About $120 from either the above link Apple store or Comp USA. Norton is great for PC, but this rules for the Mac.

Just want to put in a good word for my favorite-Tech Tool Pro.

Yeah, it's called speed disk under "optimize". Very easy, very comprehensive nice utility.
