S40 Engine Timing

Is there a special timing tool required to reset my timing on 2000 s40 2lt petrol turbo? If not, anyone know how to reset it?

I was always under the impression the timing is controlled by the ECU or do you mean you are rebuilding the engine and need the initial settings? Chris

I was replacing the engine and the one I got received a knock in transit which cracked a cog wheel for the timing belt. I replaced the wheel from old engine but now need to re set timing.
