Record Metronome.

Hi, is it possible to record what I hear from the metronome (wav samples loaded for a kick and a snare) to a track? I am away from the studio (RME 9652) and am using a laptop with stock sound card rite now. I realise I could patch the output to the input, mute all accept click and record a track but is there a way to print the metronome output to a track? I found the "click source" option but it dosn't print the sounds that I have loaded in metronome options. Thanks for any help. Rob

I would like to know the answer to this question too. Insert -> Click Source does not work as it doesn't use the custom metronome sounds I have loaded.

I have just encountered a situation where that I need to record, or render the metronome that has my custom kick and snare beats, and I'm on a notebook, with no soundcard (just internal). I know that I can Insert > Click Source, but it's not my custom beats. Can this be done? Thanks, Wyatt

Nevermind. I figured it out. Insert click source, right click on click source item>source properties>add custom beats.
