I am about finished with current projects and have a break coming. While I have ruled out 64bit at this point for technical/3rd party compatibility reasons I am still considering a move from XP to Win 7. The very limited testing I have done on my Win 7 Machine looks promising but as its 64 bit is not really an apples to apples comparison. Has anyone had issues with Win7 32bit and Reaper or other 3rd party apps?
I've been using the W7 64bit for a couple of months. Absolutely no problems at all. That said, if you don't have need for the fancy graphics (I couldn't resist! DX10!) and the extra memory it allows, there's no rational reason to move from XP. It does work really well though. I'm impressed.

havent had a problem here, i feel its actually more intuitive in some ways... so i feel there is a ergonomic advantage to windows 7. The only issue ive ran into is not being able to install the UX2 on a friends computer. Line6 will release drivers when windows 7 is officially released.

Well, fine then. I guess I can live. But my current black MediaCenter XP skin is JUST YUMMY ;_; I can't let go of it... (Actually, full name of the theme is Royale Remixed, Zune color scheme) IT. IS. JUST. BEAUTIFUL.
on the same system, dpc latency on vista x64 sp2 is horrible, and on w7 x64 smiling green without hickups. vista drivers for emu 404 pci work like they should (stable, no hickups) and w7 overall is easier to use and way faster. w7 ftw, no doubt
