New Massenburg EQ

Has anyone checked out the new Massenburg EQ? How does it stack up against the Sony? Thanks.

and where do I get a demo?

Official word is there won't be a demo. And at this point there's no alternative to the lackluster prototype-looking user interface graphics. If ever a plugin needed a new skin...

So what's up with this? The Digi site says it's available, but no price, no demo. Is it available or not? -R

Again, there WON'T be a demo. This is from Mr. M himself. I think he was reluctant to get into the plugin world due to the rampant piracy, so I guess it's his way or the hiway (including the wimpy graphics...sorry they just bug me). The plugin lists for $795. This is from Sweetwater's site. Hey, but they'll sell it to you for $794.97!

What was that saying again: no try no buy. Bob.

Or lower the price,to,..let's say,..50 cents? Or make a LOT of audio demos with original signal and EQ'd signal;I'm sure the people who know more than the basics of EQ will hear what it does.. btw,if the shelving filters allready suck,then it's worth those 50 cents

Or, you could spend $1199 on the Massivepack and get the Massenburg plug, Sony Oxford, Filterbank plus a boatload of other stuff and be done with it (for a little while at least). Lee Blaske
