are diagnostic codes the same ?

Hi does anyone know if the codes for the 1995 850 turbo are the same codes for a 1998 c70 T5 if not does anyone know where I can get access to them? Thanks cavey for your help and great info to date. Mark C70 T5.

Not sure what you mean by get access to them, do you mean to a list of codes or to the ability to read them from the car. A '95 850 supports flash codes, a '98 C70 does not and can only be read using a diagnotic tool. As '98 was a 'change' year, to advise you further. I would need to know if this is a 'fly by wire' (ME7) car without a throttle cable or the earlier (Motronic 4.4) car that has a conventional throttle cable.

Hi I Have the car in being checked, they have the codes I have a list of codes and there description but only from an 850 t. I would love the codes and there description for my car so I can find out where to look. Thanks.

You will need to answer the question regarding engine management type first. The list is extensive, and I don't know of an online source, the car supports both OBDII and Volvo manufactures codes. I would be easier you post the codes that your car displays, I'll look them up for you.
