I thought I'd add my little two cents here since this seems to be a common misconception with Maestro's preview. The DVDMaestro manual refers to the Hollywood+ card and the DVD Station software as a means to preview your compiled project. In other words you use it to see how your dvd will look and react before burning it to a disk. It's completely seperate from Maestro and has nothing to do with the program. In order to get the preview within Maestro to work you have to install Cinemaster 2000, as Trilight said.
