New SSL compressor clone

I wonder how many vst compressors exist in the market.

KVR database has 380 compressor/limiter listed. It's probably missing a few.

One thing I can say is that I really dig "minimal system" plugs. Haven't tried yet these SSL type of them but will do soon!! What i like about their product is that they bring different character not always what we always here or saying that it emulate the same as to my ears of course!! Find them great plugs but a bit CPU heavy. They could work on that matter to make them less Cpu eater!! Cheers!!

Pro 'analogue' noise gate? Are they taking the piss or what?

There is a great danger of being almost obsessive about technology. It quite literally could blow your mind. Better to put one's energies into writing good songs, rather than spending hundreds of hours scouring the net for virtual gadgets to show to the world what a genius you are. Sometimes it reminds me of the X-factor or America's Got Talent on speed. Many of the great hits of the past were recorded on four tracks with very little enhancement. Nothing beats a good tune.
