crash / ghost / directx 7a

Hi I use a Win98 se ASUS celeron 400 12b mb sis620 (onboard and extra banshee), event gina I've tried a lot of dif. configs Firts when I got it to work on multiple monitors it crashed when I opened en worked with it and opened it again (.vxd error) I No I've tried to install it agaain from my lastr norton ghost copy but could not get it to work (says I have to low ram 122-8mb sis630) It installs after this message fine but will not open new or last session. Anyway I'm trying to get it to work again (BTW the graphics were very slow) I also use an abit hotrod 100 pro with 2 IBM 15 gb 5400 disk wich also worked fine. I got a feeling my sis620 is messing it up but after I installed Directx 7a for the banschee (running on reference driver)I also got a feeling direct x is doing something wrong with protools (anybody ?) ------------------

mmm just tryed alot of other little settings vxs.--- is back and i still cannot open a .pt5 file or make a new file ? When I tried the demo it's starting to look at my a disk ??? it says nicely it got an error and says it wrote it in a log file ! i nthe log file it says access violation occurred ?? anyway still trying

sorry is 128 dimm in the first post but now it even doesn't let me open multimedia in control panels. mmmm
