d8b all out war

version 5 of d8b supports hui layer this means d8b is now a controller for protools very very interesting this is, this controller war is getting very intersting now.

I thought the db8's are being blown out at guitar center? Anyway...also mackie is working on some megadigital console...so I guess that will get hui support too...

First... the d8b as a mixer blows chunks. I'm currently in a project at a studio that has one and the converters are amung the worst I've ever heard. Second... a mixer to control a mixer sucks as well. It's very cumbersome. It's not logical. My .02. -t

I think you guys are missing the point ok d8b isnt the best sounding mixer it has been around for quite a while now so that isnt surprising butseeing as it is cheaper than a procontrol and slightly more expensive than control 24 it non the less has 24 faders or is it 16 ahs preamps that are reasonable has plugins etc it can but be value for money than either of the digi offerings hopefully digi will drop their prices. Sorry this can only be a good thing.
